New dining room almost ready
15 February 2012 — After several weeks of upheaval, our new dining room space is finally coming together. We should be all done by mid March with a new bar facility and a coffee machine on the go all day long.
We’ve had builders hard at work replacing our dining room ceiling, relocating plumbing and sorting out our electrical wiring in the dining room.
Having removed the suspended ceiling we discovered a ton of wires , water piping and another much higher ceiling featuring the old barn beams.
This has now been re plastered creating a grander space reflecting the nature of the older building more readily.
We have decorators arriving shortly to finish the space off along with a new bar area and suspended lighting. We’re very excited about the feature 4 metre long oak boards that will house the lighting for the space.
A final inclusion will be a drop screen and data projector for screening events. Watch this space for further information!
