The A591 connecting the north of the Lake District to the south will re-open on 11th May ahead of schedule, Cumbria County Council has tweeted.

Many of you will be aware that the A591 route to Keswick has been closed since the December flooding after Storm Desmond.
The good news is that a temporary bridge has now been installed.
We’re now recruiting for the 2016 season to come and work in the heart of the lake District.
We need several new members of staff to join our thriving family business either full or part time.
We require a head chef, housekeeper, front of house and general assistant roles. We offer a live-in opportunity for the right applicant/s.
